Currently I am staffing a DTS in Kona, Hawaii. This school is focused on SE Asia, and they are mentoring 14 students from around the world in preparation for outreach. I was looking forward to leading my team to Seim Reap, Cambodia for 3 1/2 months where they are teaching English, computer skills, and other life skills to the Khmer. Instead, I had to leave Hawaii the same day my team left for Seim Reap so that I could have surgery to have a large cyst removed. It was during surgery that the cancer was discovered. I have undergone a second surgery and hope to return to the field as soon as possible. Updates are available on my website. Thank you for your prayers!
