There are very few safe places in this world. Jobs are insecure. Wars and natural disasters rage around us. Even our own homes do not always provide us with the refuge we seek. But there should be a place in this world where we do feel safe; a place where we can retreat and emerge strengthened.

At Ferrysburg Community Church we are called to be a safe place – a place where God’s grace is offered and received. You’ll experience it when you are greeted at the door and welcomed warmly. You’ll experience it as you worship with inspiring music. You’ll experience it as you hear a Bible message in terms that are understandable, practical, and powerful. Nurturing Faith

We live in an age of information. With a few keystrokes and the click of a mouse, you can find out just about anything about anything. But while accessing information is easy, accessing Truth is not. Life raises a lot of hard questions. The world offers a lot of easy answers. Only God’s Word has answers that are satisfying and true.

 At Ferrysburg Community Church we’ve discovered that Truth is not just a set of beliefs. It is a relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s really knowing Jesus, not just knowing about him. Whether you’ve been a life-long Christian or picked up a Bible for the first time today, whether retired or just learning to talk, you’ll encounter Truth in a way that addresses you where you’re at. Then watch as that Truth changes you and builds faith into your life.

Equipping For Service

In 1492, Columbus discovered the Americas.  Gold was found at Sutter’s Mill in 1848.  In 1928, Alexander Fleming stumbled upon an antibiotic mold he called penicillin.  All of these discoveries changed the world in dramatic ways.  But there is a discovery that each of us must make – one even more important and life-changing than gold or penicillin.  We must discover why we were put on this earth.  We must find out how we matter.

Every child of God has a purpose – a God-appointed place to serve and God-given gifts to use.  When you’ve found that place and are using those gifts, you are doing what you’ve been created to do.  Nothing is more satisfying.  At Ferrysburg Community Church, we’re committed to helping you discover the passion and gifts that God has given you.  We’ll help you find a place of service that brings your soul to life.
